Management Team

Joseph Fischer has served as Lifeblood Medical, Inc.'s Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer since the Company's inception in 2001 and is co-creator of our proprietary technology. Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Fischer was Vice President of Manufacturing for Enzon, Inc., Piscataway, New Jersey; Vice President of Operations, Osteotech, Inc., Eatontown, New Jersey; and held management-level positions at American Home Products, Cherry Hill, New Jersey; and Worthington Diagnostics , Freehold, New Jersey. Mr. Fischer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Rutgers University.

Brian Fischer joined Lifeblood Medical, Inc. on a full-time basis in March 2006 as Director of Operations. Mr. Fischer has worked for the Company on an ad-hoc basis since November 2004. Prior to joining the Company full-time, he spent the last five years as Director of Operations at The Windrows, a large, upscale retirement community located in Princeton, New Jersey. In this position, Mr. Fischer's responsibilities included inventory, purchasing, planning, cost controls, supervising a staff of 30 people and customer service. Prior to this position, Mr. Fischer held several positions of increased responsibility in the restaurant industry for over eleven years. Mr. Fischer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Charles J. Sininski joined Lifeblood Medical, Inc. on a full-time basis in March, 2006 as Director of Finance. Mr. Sininski has worked for the Company as a part-time consultant since January, 2004. Prior to joining the company full-time, he was Controller at Currie and Brown, Inc., a cost construction consulting firm in Princeton, New Jersey. Prior to that he served as Assistant Controller of Osteotech, Inc., located in Eatontown, New Jersey. During his ten year tenure he held positions of increasing responsibilities within the finance department. Mr. Sininski is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University.

Board of Directors

Barry R. Blithe has served as a director since 2001. Mr. Blithe is the founder of California Biologicals, suppliers of tissues, glands, powders derived from tissues and glands, and various serum to the tissue culture and diagnostic industries since 1982. Prior to that, he was a director and vice president of raw materials for Irvine Scientific Sales Company, Irvine, California. He worked in the area of collection and filtration of bovine blood, producing high quality serum and plasma. Mr. Blithe has over thirty years experience in the collection of biological materials for the pharmaceutical and diagnostic industry. Mr. Blithe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Delaware Valley College.

John A. Caruso has served as a director since 2001. Mr. Caruso is a principal of BROCAR, Inc., located in Laguna Nigel, California, which provides professional management services to biotechnology and medical companies. He has been employed at BROCAR, Inc. since 2001. Previous to that, Mr. Caruso held several executive positions over a 15 year career with Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in Piscataway, New Jersey, including Vice President - Regulatory, Vice President - Business Development, and Vice President - General Counsel. Prior to joining Enzon, he was corporate and patent counsel with Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Mr. Caruso has a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Cleveland State University.

John D. Luellwitz has served as a director since March 2006. Mr. Luellwitz has over 37 years of hands-on, varied business experiences focusing on the areas of accounting, finance, marketing, operations, tax and information technology. During the initial 17 years, Mr. Luellwitz was engaged in Finance and Accounting areas in private industry (A. O. Smith and Miller Brewing Company). Over the past 20 years, John has been a Director with Ernst & Young in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Luellwitz conceived, designed, and implemented the Entrepreneur of the Year Program (1986), currently a very successful, international marketing event and Ernst & Young's number one branding event. Mr. Luellwitz has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
