Dynamic strategic relationship combines Company’s proprietary technology with Dr. Harder’s renowned research team

FREEHOLD, NJ – May 18, 2006 - Lifeblood Medical, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement that brings Dr. David Harder into the Company as Chief Science Consultant and Chairman of the Scientific Advisory board.

Dr. Harder is a Professor of Biophysics and Director of the Cardiovascular Research Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Former Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Physiology, Dr. Harder is a regularly invited speaker throughout the world, and has to date published over 240 articles.  Additionally, Dr. Harder manages millions of dollars in grant monies from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and other dominant scientific institutions.  Dr. Harder is in the top five percent of all funded investigators by NIH over the past twenty-five years. This dynamic, strategic relationship combines the Lifeblood's proprietary and patent pending enabling solution technology with Dr. Harder’s renowned research team. Harder's research team has published over 400 medical papers focusing on topics related to areas relating to Lifeblood technology.  Dr. Harder will be integrally involved with the Company’s scientific platform that he believes has the promise to greatly enhance the quality of life for mankind worldwide.
