Incorporated in 2001, the original goal of Lifeblood Medical was to enhance organ preservation through room temperature preservation and extending the length of time an organ can be preserved. This would be accomplished by focusing on what every cell needs to function - oxygen and nutrients.

As studies progressed, it was discovered that the properties of our patented technology can extend beyond organ preservation. Soon the technology was used to cryopreserve, culture cells without the use of Fetal Bovine Serum, room temperature shipping and storage of cells, limb preservation, human organ regeneration and oxygen therapeutics.
